Worship is at the very center of the Christian life, and is the foundation of our ministry and mission.

Music is an important part of worship at FUMC; it is a vehicle for proclaiming the beauty, depth and breadth of God, and gives expression to our inmost emotions in a different way from the spoken word.  Music helps form Christian character, teaches scripture and doctrine, builds community, communicates the Gospel to our neighbors, and is a means of service to God and one another. Through music ministry, we encourage all people, from our youngest children to oldest adults, to develop their giftedness and to use it for spiritual growth and service.

At FUMC, we are committed to excellence within the environment of a supportive fellowship, where children, youth, and adults are nurtured and encouraged, and the love of Christ is clearly demonstrated.
