Music Ensemble Schedules

Chancel Choir

  The choir is open to students in 9th grade through adults. Weekly rehearsals are Tuesdays 7:45- 9PM.

Other Choir Events

Festival Choir – for those people who can’t make an all year commitment to weekly rehearsals, Festival Choir meets periodically throughout the year. Festival Choir will participate in the Ecumenical Aids Day service on December 1, and the Christmas musical worship service on December 11.  Rehearsals begin with a special rehearsal on Sunday, September 25, 11:45-2:30 (lunch provided), and regular rehearsals are Tuesdays beginning September 27, 7:45-8:30 in the choir room. 

Handbell Choir – meets on Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30 in the choir room beginning September 6.  It is open to students in 9th grade through adults.  Some music reading experience is helpful, but not essential, but regular attendance at weekly rehearsals is critical.

Children’s Choir – 1st through 5th grade will meet on Sundays immediately after the worship service, 11:45-12:30, beginning September 11.  The children participate regularly in worship services.  This is a great opportunity for children to develop musical skills, and learn more about worshipping and serving God in a fun and nurturing environment.  Give your children the gift of music through participation in this choir!
