Bible Studies

Bible Study and Prayer Group
An hour of fellowship, prayer and Bible study.
Every Wednesday, 10:00 a.m.

"Called to Be God's People"
The Bible is a record of people who were encountered by God and who felt compelled to follow where God led.  We will study stories of God's call on the lives of Abraham, David, Ruth, Naaman , the first disciples, Nicodemus, the Samaritan woman -- and on our lives -- and see how they followed the leading of God's spirit.

This is an informal group, led by a team of lay leaders, where sharing ideas, questions and personal experiences are welcomed.
Cost of the study manual is $15.00.
Sundays at 9:15 a.m. from Sept. 5 - Nov.28

"For God So Loved the World. . ." - A study of the Gospel According to John
The Gospel according to John goes beyond the witness of the other gospel writers to concentrate on the meaning behind Jesus' words and actions.

In his dramatic portrayal of the ministry, death and exaltation of Jesus, John wants us to see that Jesus' every word, every sign, every action points to one ultimate truth: " . . . that Jesus is the Messiah, the son of God and that through believing you may have life in his name." (John 20:30-31).  This study will explore John's powerful gospel, which focuses on Jesus' unique relationship to God and to humanity.
Cost of the study guide is $10.00
Thursdays 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
