The Cypress Ensemble is an exciting new chamber music group dedicated to performing classical piano quartet repertoire. FUMC's own Patricia Grimm, pianist, is joined by violinist, Maria Conti, violist, Suzanne Corey-Sahlin and cellist, Gunnar Sahlin. These talented musicians have been symphony orchestra members, featured soloists and chamber musicians throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. They combine their diverse backgrounds and broad range of experiences to present exciting and uplifting performances.

The afternoon program will include the drama and exuberance of Mozart's Piano Quartet in G minor, the distinctively Spanish dance rhythms and fiery emotion of Turina's Piano Quartet, and the beautifully soaring melodies of Schumann's Piano Quartet in Eb Major. Join us for a delightful afternoon of music-making!
